Time to think about how to say “I love you.” on Valentine’s Day. Maybe we can help...with anthuriums & roses!
Kneaded erasers...they're called neri-keshi gomu (ねり消しゴム) in Japanese. And we got some in cute little cases!
Non-toxic. Made in Japan. Available at the shop or by mail order. $1.50 (CAD) ea.
They look like little sticks of putty that you can re-shape however way you want. ...and have lots of fun with it!
They also erase (of course!) They pick up and absorb graphite or charcoal very well. They don't wear away and won't leave any eraser residue. They also won't chew away your paper. You just knead it to "clean" it... but of course, one day, it will be full of graphite and will have to be replaced...but they do last for quite a bit!
Artists like to use them because they can lift graphite (or charcoal) without smudging or harming the paper...and because of their flexibility, erasing can be very precise!
Watch below if you want to see how an artist uses it.
New erasers at the shop--dino eggs and lions!
A little accent on your lapel...or on your shoulder bag, perhaps?
Attention quilters and crafters! Beautiful Japanese fabric end-cuts in assorted sizes are now available at the shop. This is a trial batch only but we hope to get more. They're great for your quilting and other craft projects.

They're not really meant to do anything but laze at the edge of your desk or shelf and look at you adoringly...
