ikebana demonstrations for schools

We love introducing ikebana, especially to young people!

If you are a high school or university/college in the Halifax Metro area and wish your students to get to know ikebana a little bit better, we would be happy to visit your location and give a presentation at very special rates. (Basically, we would just be asking you to help defray the cost of the flowers.)

A classroom demonstration would typically last about 30-45 minutes but we can adjust depending on how much time the class has.

Our presentation could help enhance any study on Japanese culture/art. We are, of course, open to other questions that students may have about Japan, not necessarily ikebana-related.
